SAN DIEGO LIGHT RAIL
Downtown Terminal, 1981

This photo dates to 1981, and shows the earliest cars and the old route configuration of a single track that ended along a reserved portion of C St.  The Santa Fe Depot is nearby, behind the camera.

This location is very close to that of the previous photo; however, the surroundings and light rail service have changed greatly.  The "Centre City" signs are long gone from the San Diego light rail scene.
