Passage on MAX, outside the Free Rail Zone, must be supported with a
valid ticket, transfer or pass, and the train's operator has no fare
verification responsibility or normal contact with passengers. This
"proof of payment" system is common to almost all of the latter-day light
rail systems of North America. |
