There are double curves along N Interstate Ave. between
the N Prescott St. and Overlook Park stations. The more southern curve is
visible in this view, with an outbound train banking slightly.
Skyscrapers of downtown Portland are visible in the distance.
The
ubiquitous chain-link fence is visible here, as is one of the pedestrian
crossings of the right of way. Pedestrians are typically made to do a
right-angle turn on each such crossing to help insure their
attention to possible train traffic. |
