Starting a bit east after the Free Rail Zone ends, this transit corridor, known as the Banfield Corridor or
Sullivan's Gulch, extends for several stations out before MAX heads on its own to
reach Gateway/NE 99th Ave. Transit Center.
The single track of the Union Pacific Railroad is visible to the right.
Banfield Freeway is out of sight to the left.
This section of private right of way, without cross traffic, affords one of the speedier
portions along the MAX system. |
