This location is similar to that of the previous image in
this section. There is a strategically placed bike and pedestrian path
that allows for some interesting perspectives on MAX activity in this area,
albeit with high chain-link fences. The train's destination sign reads
"Airport," and may seem counterintuitive to someone facing south, but that's
where this train is going to, executing along its loop to get it down to the level
of the Interstate highway below. This is a rare portion of the MAX
system with a single track serving both directions. |
