Limb Across the Wire

Rails not far from the Drake terminal are rusty in this view, and a very large limb has apparently fallen onto the overhead wire.  The newest cars on the "T" had been tested months before along portions of the dormant stretch.     The route out to Drake was once part of a far longer interurban line, which reached as far south as Washington, Pennsylvania.
