The two
lines pass through four closely spaced stations before
taking off on their own again at Washington Junction, pictured here. At both junctions trains from one
outbound direction cross over an inbound track at grade. Tracks to and from the
right are used by South Hills Village trains. The
route to the left serves the considerably longer Library line.
