A train from Library is just about to reach
Washington Junction in this view. The outbound Library track
crosses the inbound South Hills Village rails in the lower part
of the image. As is often the case on the "T," there is much
greenery close to the right of way.
Pittsburgh's light rail fares are not cheap. A peak-hour
one-way ride from downtown to beyond Washington Junction costs $3.10, with transfers an extra fifty cents.
A non-peak two-zone fare is $2.60. |
