to Panhandle Bridge curves above in this view, and a train is visible
to the left on the main route. Before the changes in
the 1980s the 52 line stayed at street level behind the camera in this area, and continued parallel to the river several blocks to the northwest before joining the
tunnel lines to cross Smithfield Bridge. |
