PHILADELPHIA LIGHT RAIL
Waiting at Sharon Hill

The two suburban lines, like the city subway-surface light rail routes, use vehicles manufactured by Kawasaki, and travel along rails set at a gauge four inches wider than standard.  The cars on the "Red Arrow" routes, however, are equipped with pantographs rather than trolley poles.

This view from behind is at the last stop in Sharon Hill.  The Media Line, at 8.6 miles, is three miles longer than this route.
