NEW YORK CITY LIGHT RAIL
Ground Level

Shortly ahead our train will regain elevated running in this view just outside the airport.  The routes to Jamaica Station and Howard Beach are still running together at this point.

Because of the unique nature of the JFK service, it is the nation's highest-priced light rail ride, if one is going to or from Howard Beach or Jamaica Station: five dollars.  But it also ties for the lowest fare: free, around the loop and to the nearby stops for parking, hotels, rental car and cargo customers.
