NEW YORK CITY LIGHT RAIL
Long Island Railroad

In its final moments from JFK to Jamaica the AirTrain route curves to parallel the Long Island Railroad tracks as each service heads into its respective station.  Several long MTA commuter trains are in view in this scene.

The one system has been serving the area for way over a century, and the other, just for the briefest portion of recent history.  Perhaps someday a JFK rail passenger may ride on rail to or from Manhattan without changing trains?
