In its final moments from JFK to Jamaica the AirTrain route curves to
parallel the Long Island Railroad tracks as each service heads into its respective
station.
Several long MTA commuter trains are in view in this scene.
The one system has been serving the area for way over a century, and
the other, just for the briefest portion of recent history.
Perhaps someday a JFK rail passenger may ride on rail to or from Manhattan
without changing trains? |
