Car #937 is entering the double-track
portion along the neutral ground of St. Charles Ave. in this view,
having switched off Lee Circle. The few feet of trackage
around the circle from that point to where the inbound line joins in
are not in normal use.
The large brick
building in the background seems to have been carefully built around
the much older structure on the corner, a building that at the time
of this 2005 view featured an unnamed bar on the ground floor. |
