This scene is not far from Napoleon St. in the
Uptown neighborhood, beyond the Garden District. Streetcar
service had been entirely erratic for much of the afternoon this
February day, and in
this view there is no sign of rail activity -- and very little
indication of any activity at all. Many
trees were still fully green, but the ground has its
share of dead leaves from the brief winter. |
