100 years of ministry in Carrollton" in 2003, although this view is
from 2005. The worn grassy right of way and somewhat uneven
rails with no visible ties
are distinctly features for New Orleans. Elsewhere in the
country this portion between the two directions of the roadway
would likely be called the "median." In New Orleans it is
properly referred to as "neutral ground." |
