This view is from the interior of a
streetcar soon to enter the flow of traffic at Canal/River. There are
three tracks at this station.
The Riverfront Streetcar is a block or so behind the camera.
The Canal/Cemeteries Streetcar, officially Line 42, runs every ten
minutes or so during the day, and begins and ends here. The
Canal/City Park branch, designated as Line 45, continues to and from
the Riverfront route's northeastern terminal at French Market. It
runs considerably less frequently than service to Cemeteries. |
