NEW ORLEANS STREETCAR
Built by the RTA

This close-up of streetcar #2022 shows it very near the Cemeteries end of the line.  Unusual in this day and age, but like the older Riverfront Streetcar, the vehicles in use on the Canal Streetcar were constructed "in house" by the Regional Transportation Authority.  They are air-conditioned and meet all modern requirements, but are intended to preserve the feel for the much older Perley Thomas cars in use on the St. Charles Streetcar.
