HUDSON-BERGEN LIGHT RAIL
Platforms at Hoboken

The Hoboken Terminal is built adjacent to NJ Transit's diesel commuter rail hub at the old Lackawanna Terminal.  A commuter train is barely visible to the right of the light rail vehicles.

Hudson-Bergen trains occupy two tracks in this 2004 view; trains were then operating south from here to E. 34th St. and to West Side Ave.  The route to the north to Lincoln Harbor (and later, beyond) was several months away from its opening.

With the system reaching its present three lines there is no longer direct service from here to West Side Ave.  The passenger must transfer at one of eight stations between Pavonia-Newport and Liberty State Park.
