HOUSTON LIGHT RAIL
Building from an Older Era

JP Morgan Chase has its name not only on the city's tallest building, but also on the 1929 structure prominent beyond the northbound train in this view.  For well over three decades -- until 1963 -- this was the tallest structure in the city.  In those years it bore its former name, the Gulf Building.
