Most of the stations along the Red Line are
staggered so that the platforms for opposite directions of travel are not adjacent to each
other. This view is at the northbound Preston stop. The
platform is on the near side of the namesake
street. The southbound station is barely visible in the distance, on
the far side.
It was a gray winter's day at the time of this image. This
view highlights some of the structures built to accommodate
Houston's commerce more well over half a century ago. |
