METRORail
runs in fully reserved lanes in the middle of Fannin through Hermann
Park. There is a long stretch here without
interference from cross-traffic, and the line has a very nice "feel"
to it.
This photo is from inside a northbound train, and shows that one can get
a very decent view looking out the front window on the right hand
side of the car. The overhead electric poles and wiring has an
aesthetically fine appearance, at least to this observer. |
