South of downtown and on the other side of
the Trinity River the two lines diverge past the station at 8th &
Corinth. This scene is just past the junction. The Blue Line is curving
away from the Red to gain the right of way once used by the Texas Electric interurban
railroad. That line is long gone, but portions of its old
viaduct and bridge still stand. |
