The northbound Blue Line train in view here has
been given a priority signal to cross Pearl St. along Bryan St. in
center city Dallas. It is heading from Ledbetter to
Downtown Garland. There's a
Red Line train trailing just behind. The station at Pearl is
the most northern of the four transit mall stops.
Just beyond here the line executes a curve to access the subway.
Switchwork is already in place for the Southeast Branch of the Green
line, currently under construction. It will curve off and head
just over ten miles to a Buckner terminal in Pleasant Grove by late
2010.
