The Green Line runs along the middle of Shaker Blvd. east of Shaker Square.  There are some very beautiful homes -- or mansions -- along the way, and lovely, tree-shaded side streets head off on both sides of the roadway.  

PCC trolleys handled the Shaker Heights routes until the Breda units, pictured here, replaced them in the early-1980s.  The old cars were a beautiful sight for me to behold when I first came this way, a teenager without a camera, in 1962.
