This view from street level shows the Waterfront Extension eastbound track to the left, and the Red Line heavy rail route heading to and from its bridge and viaduct to the right of it.  Headways on both systems are somewhat leisurely at midday, and there are long periods for the observer to contemplate things other than trains passing.
