CALGARY LIGHT RAIL
Western Edge of Downtown

At the western edge of downtown, as on the eastern edge, the two lines split, or join.  The 202 line from Whitehorn ends just a couple of blocks straight ahead at 10th St. SW, where a train can be seen waiting in this photo.  Future expansion may one day extend the service considerably further.

The 201 line continues to the right.  From here it soon heads across the Bow River and then it ascends from the valley to pass three major educational institutions on its route to the northwest.  The station from which this photo was taken was at the end of the original line, which went from downtown south to Anderson.
