BOSTON LIGHT RAIL
Snow Scene

No trains are at Riverside, and the platform needs shoveling from the late-season snow in this peaceful scene.  Everything on the ground is still a brilliant white, and the storm's ending had been very recent.

Some of my earliest Boston transit memories are at this station, from a December day (without snow) in 1965.  I was young, with an inexpensive camera that I didn't use very much.  I had flown up from New York City for my first Boston experience.  The line was in its initial decade of service, and PCCs were the only method of transportation.  I took one photo then, now apparently long lost to the ages.
