In this view our Cleveland Circle (C) branch
train is emerging from the subway, beyond Kenmore, for its run along the
median of Beacon St. the rest of the way outbound. This portal and
the section of subway we have just traveled is quite a bit newer than
that under downtown; it replaced surface trackage in 1932. |
