In early 2001, almost one quarter of a century after
the opening of the first Metrorail segment, the system as originally designed
was completed with the opening of the Green Line to Branch Avenue in
Prince George's County, Maryland.
The outer portion of that line, where this photo was taken, has a rustic, almost wild feeling to
it. |
