The Yellow Line and Blue Line run together for six
stations from Pentagon south to King Street in Alexandria. Shortly thereafter, but
out of view in this photo,
Metro splits. The Yellow Line goes south to Huntington, and the
Blue Line, southwest to Franconia-Springfield. Both
final segments are two stations further out, but the Yellow Line covers far more
distance, paralleling in large part the CSX rail line that curves to the right. |
