PATH HEAVY RAIL
Harrison Station

The Harrison station platform is a wonderful place for train watching.  PATH is on the outside of the five tracks that come through here.  The inside three tracks are used by NJ Transit for several commuter routes, and by Amtrak for its high speed Acela service along the Northeast Corridor, and for other passenger trains destined to, or arriving from, places as far away as Florida.  The parallel lift bridges across the Passaic River are in the background, along with the skyline of downtown Newark.
