There is daylight visible in this scene from Lower
Manhattan. The PATH train in view had just recently reached the
temporary terminal. This station was originally known as Hudson
Terminal. For three decades or so PATH terminated below the twin
towers of
the World Trade Center, and the station bore that name. Some day again the
platforms and tracks will be covered
by by commerce and activity. A future major transportation transfer point
is envisioned. |
