The overhead bulbs in this scene cast various
beams of light along the side of this car at the single downtown
station, Tower City. The limited service to the
central business district has always been a handicap for the line.
Now light rail serves various other core locations, and can be reached with a
transfer here. But it still remains a curiosity: a single downtown
station on a long route between east and west. |
