Units from three different groups of Red Line
cars are in this scene at Cabot Yard, not far removed from
downtown and South Station. The tracks to the right in this
photo carry Amtrak and MBTA commuter rail traffic, including the
high-speed Acela service along the Northeast Corridor. A bit
further out, the Orange Line will run for some miles next to those
trains. |
