BAY AREA HEAVY RAIL
View Toward Oakland

The view in the background is of freeways and some of downtown Oakland.  A small sign in the front of the train announces its destination.  For the most part BART riders, who generally queue up at stations in an orderly fashion perpendicular to the train's door locations, rely on station signs and the system's automated PA announcements to find out where each train is heading.  It can get a bit tricky, since the same set of rails may see service for up to four different destinations.
