Civic Center is the first of the four BART stops
under Market St., coming from the south. This view shows the
station sign announcing BART and Muni below -- the BART logo
remaining as it has been since the beginning of service.
The photo also affords an opportunity to show the third level of
electric rail transit that travels along this corridor. A Muni
F-line PCC unit heads away from the camera, toward the heart of downtown,
and out beyond there to Fisherman's Wharf. |
