At Balboa Park, where this photo was taken, one can go upstairs and come
upon a Muni light rail yard with the chance to view plenty of equipment.
Muni station platforms in the near vicinity allow for boarding of three
different light rail routes that head to downtown.
It's rather unusual that the light rail and heavy rail
networks are operated by two different entities. In this case not too much
station information highlights the proximity of the systems. |
