It can be anywhere -- a certain magic
moment as I find myself along a road without visible traffic.
It can be an old highway
appearing to merge into --
or to be enveloped by -- its
surroundings....
Or it can be vast scenery stretching into some diminishing distance...
Or a scene that hints at
the bypassing of time...
This view is from
within Arches National Park. The pavement is well
marked, and is full of patches. In the far distance snow-covered
mountains speak to the varied Utah landscape.
