Although
I've never learned much about differentiating between
manufacturers and models set into or dominating the landscape,
either in the countryside or the city, locomotives are a recurring attraction for
my camera's focus.
This
northbound freight is heading along Puget Sound, Edmonds, Washington,
near mile marker 18 (from Seattle).
The typical December overcast of the Pacific Northwest has given way
to mixed dark clouds and blue sky.
It's one of my
favorite locations.
